Long lines in Nevada as recreational marijuana goes on sale
What took them so long? In a city where anything goes, they seemed to be behind the 8 ball when it came to giving weed the check-mark. It was legalized in November and just went on sale.
Stranger as it seems, although it is legal in Sin City; marijuana is prohibited in casinos, bars, restaurants, parks, concerts and on any federal property. Is this a joke or what? I don’t ever see that being enforced. Can’t smoke a joint or two at a concert or park???
The use of the Wacky Tabacci is supposed to be for private use only, limited to homes. Hold your breath!!
On top of those ridiculous restrictions; there’s a $600 fine for smoking in public.
People have their own opinions. The way I see it; legalizing marijuana is just another step in the ruination of future generations. With all the artificial intelligence assistance kids are getting from computers and other electronic gadgets; now we put the legalization of weed in the mix; their brains are guaranteed to turn to mush over time. In many areas, mankind is regressing faster than we are progressing.
The residence of Vegas had a real winner leading the parade of dope heads. State Sen. Tick Segerblom was one of the first to make a purchase. He’s considered the “godfather of the marijuana movement” in Nevada.

TICK???
I would like to guess how much $oldi the Ticker has invested in the industry?
The tax on weed is the highest ever leveled on any product. For every dollar spent on weed, the government gets 33-cents toward taxes. Marijuana is expected to generate $60 million in tax revenue the next two years.

The backbone of our society. Be careful of what you wish for.
