Geraldo Rivera: Erasing of history is very dangerous
I never put too much credence into what Jerry said or does. For years he has been a sensationalist and a little extreme in some areas.
Jerry has done everything to promote himself except gargle peanut butter while standing on his head. One of his biggest scams was on April 21, 1986, nearly 30 million viewers tuned in to The Mystery of Al Capone’s Vaults, a live prime-time excavation hosted by Geraldo Rivera that promised to dig deep into the catacombs of the criminal’s hotel hideout on Chicago’s South Side.
Naturally; when the vault’s wall were finally broke down and opened, it was like Jerry’s presentation, EMPTY.

I have to give him credit, whether I agree with him or not; Jerry was one of the greatest hustlers of all time.
Today I happen to agree with him. Geraldo Rivera: Erasing of history is very dangerous
I did a post a few days ago expounding on the down sides of trying to erase history by removing sign, statues and flags that represent the Old South. If nothing else, they can serve as reminders of past mistakes and a memorial not to go down that same road.
3 side to a coin

History is an element that should never be ignored or disposed of like it never happened or else it is not history.
Mankind is doing everything in it’s power to self-destruct. If civilization weathers the storm, sometime I have my reservations, we should be-able to look into history books to see what accomplishments and blunders we made.
As unpleasant as these events were; the Jewish people do not want the Holocaust to be disregard as a part of history, the American Indians, the black community and other races/nationalities/religions the same. They ALL want their past, good or bad to remain in the public’s eyes as symbols of their successes, failures and plight.
By taking down statues, destroying paintings and removing flags serves no purpose except to appease the far-left PC-ers and others like them. We all know how wacked out they are.
