Trump is right — America and Russia need to work together to lower tensions

Freddy Boy, I have been standing on my soap box preaching the same thing ever since PDT put his hand on the bible, touting 1,000 positive reasons why the USA and Russia should have a working, compatible relationship. If PDT/the USA can have an amicable relationship with the Judo Guy, without compromising any of our values; than why not??

The USA’s  past leaders, in all of their wisdom, have flushed down the shitter trillions of dollar$ and countless years trying to change the behavior pattern of the way  other countries operate, all to no avail.

To start with; we have so many different issues plaguing our country that we have no business preaching to anyone on how to operate.  Most of them have been on the same course for centuries and they will not change anytime soon. Do we have to endorse what they do? Absolutely not, but use the relationship to our advantage.

Be that as it may. IF the USA and the world  can benefit in anyway from a working relationship with other countries, why not work together.

Take a good look at all of the countries we have invaded illegally or criticized because we didn’t like their mode of operation. Has any of it worked?? Hell no. In most cases, the countries we tried to change were worse off after we left than before we invaded them.

It has cost the USA trillions of dollar$ and 10’s of 1,000’s of lives trying to make other countries conform to our way of doing business. Who ever said the USA was perfect?

All we came away with was, a bankrupt government, scores of injured or maimed people and too many body bags to count.

IFFFFF any of our efforts were successful; then maybe I might agree, but that is not the case. The USA, the most powerful country in the world, has not come away with a military victory since WW II.  A good deal of why we took actions in those countries, aside for the greedy war-mongers starting them, was supposedly because we didn’t like the way they operated.

In my opinion, the stronger the bond is between Russia and the USA, the better off the entire world will be.                         .
