USA TODAY: Sorry, but you’re hard-boiling your eggs all wrong
How can there be so much conversation made about making a hard-boiled egg.
Start them off in cold water, making sure that they are completely covered with water. Bring them to a boil, simmer for 12 minutes, put them under cold water so they are easy to peel and don’t burn your hands, then munch your little buns off.
If you like them spicy, sprinkle on a little pepper seeds/ crushed red pepper, some black pepper and then lightly salt them.
