Like giving a 5 years old a AK-47 ….

Homeless again, man fears he’ll never get most of the $400k from a GoFundMe in his honor

Like giving a 3 years old a AK-47; they would be young to know what it is and most probably hurt them-self playing with it.

A GoFundMe campaign was supposed to be a “second chance at life” for Johnny Bobbitt Jr. after the homeless man’s kindness to a stranger went viral in November 2017. Now, Bobbitt says he’s on the streets again and thinks the more than $400,000 raised was mismanaged.

There was another person that comes to mind reading this story. He was a black man who won the lottery and unfortunately was illiterate and unable to protect his finances. His name WAS Abraham Shakespeare.

Being that Abraham was illiterate, he was in need to find a trust-worthy person to handle his sizable winning of 30 million dollar$.  His good fortune turned out to be his worst nightmare. As bad luck would have it, he ran across Dorice “Dee Dee” Moore that conned the hell out of him, posing as his savior, BUTT in reality, she turned out to be his executioner.

In the process of developing a relationship with the lottery winner, this devious bitch conned Abraham into sign over everything  to her.  You know the rest of the story.

Abraham went missing and yes, the bitch killed him and absconded all of his $oldi. Fortunately it did not take the authorities long to put the pieces together and arrested the harlot.

Editor’s note: The most infamous lottery winner in Tampa Bay history may be Abraham Shakespeare. In 2006 the 41-year-old illiterate, part-time garbage worker from Lakeland won a $30 million jackpot on Nov. 15, 2006. He was killed two years later after squandering the $17 million lump-sum payment. His winnings also led him to Dorice “DeeDee” Moore, who authorities said would take whatever he had left and then kill him on April 6 or 7, 2009. Shakespeare was reported missing in November 2009, and the Times published this story about his life on Dec. 13, 2009. His body was found in January 2010, Moore was arrested for first-degree murder a month later and found guilty in 2012.

What are the lessons to be learned in this story??

All that glitters is not golden, trust no one, especially family members. They can be the most brutal, cruel and calculating people on the planet, where there are dollar$ involved.

Beware of the Trojan Horse and Greeks bearing gifts. If something seem too good to be true, it usually is.  Make stranger/1st time acquaintances, earn your respect and trust, do not be so generous with it by arbitrarily giving it away.

Back to the Bobbitt saga:

Bobbitt gained fame after giving his last $20 to a woman who ran out of gas in Philadelphia. That woman, Kate McClure, worked with boyfriend Mark D’Amico to set up a crowdfunding campaign that attracted 14,000 donors.

Now Bobbitt says he’s homeless, hungry and addicted to drugs again. His lawyers say the couple has given him a fraction of the money, CNN reports. And Bobbitt fears he won’t benefit from the rest, according to an interview published by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bobbitt’s lawyer estimated there should be $300,000 left from the campaign, according to CNN. Chris Fallon said he and another lawyer are working to secure a guardian other than McClure and D’Amico for the balance of the money.

Another poor soul who put his faith and trust in someone to look out for his welfare.
