Michael Flynn’s sentencing is set for December
(CNN) Former national security adviser Michael Flynn is set to be sentenced on December 18 for lying to FBI investigators, federal Judge Emmet Sullivan said Wednesday.
I don’t have a problem with ANYONE getting the axe if they lie under oath; BUTT the problem it seems, the authorities pick and choose who they are going to penalize.
CHC and Company were/are some of the most prolific liars in political history. It was disgraceful what they got away with it and still are.
I posted my recommendation many times that would eliminate anyone beating the system. The same standards would apply to everyone, no matter who they are or what part of the country they live in.
Starting with:
No pleading the 5th – that was only designed for criminals to hide behind the law.
A National Penalty structure should be constructed; no matter where the person lives, in Alaska or Florida, if found guilty, they would receive the same sentence. That in-itself would put an end to corrupted judges – sympathetic fools in robes that sentence someone who kills 4 people, 10 years probation, along with a multitude of other judicial improprieties.
Should Mike Flynn be punished for lying to the FBI?? Absolutely yes; BUTT the rule should apply to all, not using the pick and choose process.
