USA TODAY: Trump will ask secretaries to cut budgets by 5 percent

When it comes to finances, just about everyone in the government thinks they are playing with Monopoly money. They have no value for the dollar, because it is not coming directly out of their pocket.

Along with the budget cuts, I would suggest that all politicians in DC take a 20% pay cut and forgo many of their perks that cost the government millions of dollars a year.

I am sure that a suggestion like that would go over like a fart at high mass in St John’s Cathedral.

Save the pennies and the dollars at will add up. Trying to save Millions at one time only makes the situation a lot more unattainable.
