With all of the conversation about the deplorable STATE OF THE UNION; I never, ever hear any politician mention the biggest anchor we have hanging over our heads, the national debt.
If any grown man or women can look at this monster and not want to puke, they have a very strong constitution. Ralph doesn’t!!.
Ralph just looked at the National Debt clock in real time and threw up those four bowls of pasta Fagioli he ate last night.
Is it because our leaders have DEMENTIA – they would like to pretend THE DEBT does not exist, are they all delusional and think it will disappear by itself?? Possibly a little of each. I would put incompetence, ignorance and stupidity before all of the other choices.
When I was growing up my old man told me, never borrow money. IF you are forced to, figuratively speaking, don’t go to sleep until you pay it back.
It is obvious that the politicians that run this country did not have a father like I did, that taught the proper values and principles as I was taught.
I did a post way back when the Chinese completed building the biggest aircraft carrier in the world. I said; one day they will probably take a trip across the pond to come and collect what is due them.

Do the politicians have any intentions of paying off the national debt – do they have a game plan – does it concern them that the debt has long exceeded the 21,000,000,000,00.00 mark?
Over the past ten years, the national debt has grown from $9.4 trillion to over $21 trillion– a growth rate of 123%! Mar 21, 2018. The bigger this monster gets, the more it eats and the faster it grow. BUTT it is extremely odd, no one is talking about it. They act like it does not exist.
How is taking the rap for that?? No one. Just another crucial item on the very long list of what is bound to destroy the USA.
The politicians in this country remind me of reckless teenagers that never consider the consequences of their actions or in-actions. They all have tunnel vision and can only see the present, not the future.
Someone better have a game plan. When the shit hits the fan, they will all be doing this:

As bad off as the USA is, I don’t think God can help.
