GOP’s Steve Scalise shuts down Twitter debate on taxes with Ocasio-Cortez after ‘radical followers’ allude to Virginia shooting
Because of Cortez’s combative, left-field tactics/fiery rethoric, she is making quiet a name for herself, BUTT not in a very complimentary fashion. In the meantime, she is developing a following of wack-jobs to carry her torch.
U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., abruptly halted a Twitter debate with newcomer Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York early Sunday after at least three commenters made references to the June 2017 shooting in which Scalise and three other people were shot by a left-wing activist.
“snipe his ass,” one Twitter user wrote, in support of Ocasio-Cortez.
“she’s got better aim that James Hodgkinson, that’s for sure,” another wrote, comparing Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter responses to the marksmanship of the suspect in the Virginia shooting, a Bernie Sanders supporter who later died in a shootout with police.C
“Kick his cane,” a third wrote.
Is this what politics in this country has evolved into, combat zones where the candidates have to be concerned with some nut-case follower of one of the radicals, gets unglued, goes haywire trying to take out the other guy?
Some politicians have become very dangerous by the way they incite people into being violent through their rhetoric. It is not the old case of ; may the better man win; it has morphed into, I am gonna kill you, you son-of-a-bitch if they pose a threat to me!!
Scalise said exactly the same thing I have been saying about the preposterous GIVE-AWAYS many of the democrats are touting.
He said that Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez instead wanted to tax Americans’ income at higher rates in order to “give it to leftist fantasy programs.”
Anyone with any commonsense has to know that the majority of the pipe-dreams the democrats are touting are an impossible to implement. I guess, commonsense is the key word!!
How pathetic does anyone have to be, by trying to con voters into believing impossible schemes. They absolutely know, all they are doing is bull-shitting desperate people and giving them false hope.

Impossible to implement. Let us be hypothetical for a brief moment and say that these nuts cases were successful in get elected and pass all of these programs. That would be another dozen nails in the USA’s coffin and a gigantic hole in the already sinking boat.
I don’t even want to mention that the country is already 22 trillion dollars in debt and does not look like the debt will ever be paid off.
Is this scary or what?? Obviously not to some people.

This country is loaded with ticking time bombs that are very easily set off by some radical person or cause. We have witnessed that may times. They certainly do not need any encouragement. It would not take much for one of them to do another attack at a baseball game or for that matter, or anywhere.
Cortez has a mission in mind and will do whatever it takes to try and pull it off.
There is nothing wrong with giving whatever we do 1,000%, BUTT when that involves potential violence and firing up wack-jobs, that is where the line should be drawn.
