Ocasio-Cortez calls climate change ‘our World War II,’ warns the world will end in 12 years

I have not seen anyone get as much ink as this socialist crusader in decades. Not only is she a rebel on a mission, all of a sudden she is a predictor of future events like Nostradamus.

I have to give this obnoxious creature credit; she sure knows how to get attention and stir up a crowd.

Being that she is clairvoyant, I might call her and get tonight’s lottery numbers and put her talents to good use.

Here is the platform that launched Ocasio-Cortez into politics.

BUTT she still has not come up with a way to pay for them.

Medicare for all

Ocasio-Cortez wants a single payer health care system that would cover medicine, vision, dental, and mental health care.

“Almost every other developed nation in the world has universal healthcare,” Ocasio-Cortez’s website says. “It’s time the United States catch up to the rest of the world in ensuring all people have real healthcare coverage that doesn’t break the bank.”

Fully funded public schools and universities

Ocasio-Cortez, who is still paying off student loans, wants to establish tuition-free public college and trade school.

She also wants to cancel all student debt.

Universal jobs guarantee

Ocasio-Cortez believes there should be a Federal Jobs Guarantee, creating a “baseline quality for employments that guarantees a minimum $15 wage (pegged to inflation), full healthcare, and paid child and sick leave for all,” according to her website.

By the away, in her plan that is aligned with TMC’s plan, no one is required to work for their pay. How about those free apples??

Housing as a human right

Ocasio-Cortez believes housing is a right and “that Congress must tip the balance away from housing as a gambling chip for Wall Street banks and fight for accessible housing that’s actually within working families’ reach,” her website says.

She says she wants to extend tax benefits to working- and middle-class homeowners, expand the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, provide housing for the homeless, and permanently fund the National Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

Justice-system reform

Ocasio-Cortez calls for ending the war on drugs, demilitarizing police departments, and abolishing for-profit prisons.

She also supports legalizing marijuana at the federal level, releasing individuals sentenced for nonviolent drug offenses, ending cash bail, and “automatic, independent” investigations when people are killed by law enforcement officials.

Again, she made herself look foolish with her comment on how to pay for all the give-aways.

Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?'” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Was that a brilliant statement or what. As long as she can keep bull-shitting her gullible audience, and they keep believing her, she and her movement will keep gaining strength. Strength and numbers constitutes votes.

12 years, that may be a good thing. There are a couple of scores I would like to settle with some scumbags before the curtain comes down that are long overdue. Every once and awhile some rebel comes on the scene that creates a lot of commotion and stirs up a decent following. This gal has made her move at the right time in history and I feel she will be very effective.

Just like Hitler and all the rest of the Svengali through history, they have made their mark when times were bad and people were looking for salvation. In Ortez-Cortez situation, she has captivated the young and impressionable, the weak and the freak, the lazy and the crazy people that are looking for a free ride through life and for the government to support them. They are not intelligent enough to know, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Sooner or later, no matter how big the well is, (aqua or $oldi) it will go dry if not replenished.

Folks, it doesn’t matter how intelligent a person is, how much commonsense they have or don’t have, how patriotic they are, when they go into that voting booth and close the curtain, everyone’s vote counts. Numbers are always the winner and this gal and her cronies is building numbers.

Is it time for the silent majority to awake from their deep sleep and make sure that the nut-cases do not control the country?? You betcha. CHC would have bet all she and WB scrounged (notice I did not want to say EARNED) up their entire life that she would have won the election. When you fall asleep at the wheel, an accident is sure to happen.

The term SILENT MAJORITY was popularized by U.S. President Richard Nixon in a November 3, 1969, speech in which he said, “And so tonight—to you, the great silent majority of my fellow Americans—I ask for your support.”

Not that I agree with all that Tricky Dick did, BUTT he was right, the SILENT MAJORITY does have to stand-up and be recognized. If not, their silence will be their undertaker.
