A border wall isn’t enough – Asylum laws must be stricter to cut illegal immigration
This has been my sentiments exactly.
Repeat – repeat – repeat; the USA is its own worst enemy. Spending 1 billion – 5 billion – 8 billion on THE WALL is not enough to keep out the illegals. The liberal laws need to be changed. It would be like trying to piss up a rope.
Because of multiple lawsuits challenging his declaration of a national emergency, we don’t know if President Trump will be able to carry out his plans to use $8 billion in federal funds to build a barrier along parts of the U.S.-Mexico border to reduce illegal immigration.
But even if the courts side with the president – and even if he then uses billions of dollars more to build additional sections of a border barrier – no wall or fence alone will stop immigrants from crossing our southern border in large numbers.
A wall wouldn’t keep out these asylum seekers, who could simply turn themselves in at legal points of entry. To reduce this flow of illegal immigrants, the White House and Congress must close asylum loopholes.
Our asylum system wasn’t always so prone to abuse. Before 2009, courts only offered asylum to individuals who feared – or had already suffered – persecution based on their race, religion, nationality, political affiliation, or membership in a particular social group.
For instance, Chinese Christians fleeing from threats of imprisonment had a strong chance to obtain asylum.

As I have alluded to many times, the constitution has been used, abused and twisted by the enemies of the state to accommodate their own nefarious agendas.
In 2009, the Obama administration determined that domestic and gang violence should also be grounds for asylum. Foreigners quickly learned that claiming a “credible fear” of such violence – regardless of the truth of those claims – would gain them entry into the United States.
Hell, those loose regulations could apply to 75% of the population in the USA. Doesn’t anyone see how this socialist/fat-left mentality is destroying the country?? Their extremists agenda is so far off the charts it is incomprehensible and lacks every degree of common-sense possible.
Nowwww, putting TMC’s moves together while he was in office, with the ambitions of likes of these irrational politicians and their supporters, does anyone NOT believe there has been an ongoing conspiracy to turn the USA into a socialist government?? GMAFB – wake up and smell the napalm.
I would think that most women should be insulted having these nuts cases representing them (I am not sure they do). They make no sense at all.
Did they ever look at the National Debt real time clock?? I doubt it.
How can a country as bad off as the USA is financially, implement all or any of the give-aways these fools represent??
Possibly/wishful thinking, their lunacy/fanaticism will be their Waterloo.
