Now tell me, what the hell are the AUTHORITIES doing with those critical/life-threatening finds?? NOTHING of any significance.

As long as the fools that dish out the $oldi for maintenance and care of the infrastructure in this country don’t have one of their family members or close friend killed in a bridge collapse or other neglected entity, they could care less.

The conditions are staring them right in the face, but nothing or very little is being done to correct the problems.

ANY person has to be nut to drive across ANY bridge in this country. They like to be called AUTHORITIES, but authorities of what I haven’t been able to figure out. Their lack of diligence in the positions they are paid big money for; is deplorable at best.

64,000$ question. When deaths or injuries are a direct result of negligence by one of the AUTHORITIES, is that person or persons held accountable?? I have not seen that happen. One of the best moves a politicians execute with proficiency, always blame the other guy.

It can not be that the USA doesn’t have the funds to support the repair of its infrastructures, they just have different priorities than the ones that make the most sense. They do not know what the meaning of what; Charity begins at home means.

Most of these examples may be irrelevant and not connected, but they are just indicators of the mentality of the people that run the show.

In fiscal year 2017 (10/1/2016 to 09/30/2017), the U.S. government allocated the following amounts for aid:

Total economic and military assistance: $49.87 billion.

Total military assistance: $14.77 billion.

Total economic assistance: $35.10 billion, of which USAID Implemented: $20.55 billion^[9].

Unless my math is wrong, that totals to 99.74 BBBBBBBillion dollar$.

Is it possible I am missing a few boards in my attic?? How can ANY country give away almost a 100 billion dollar$ in one year, when they have conditions exist as the USA does. Does that make any sense at all?? Folks, that is just the tip of the ice pick.

The health and welfare of the citizens of this country (even the illegals) are in the hands of some very incompetent people. As long as their pay does not stop when the country shuts down, that is all they are concerned with.
