Nature in worst shape in human history with 1 million species at risk of extinction, massive UN report warns
No question about it; mankind is it’s own worst enemy.
Mother Nature is under attack and guess by who??
In a sweeping, first-of-its-kind report, the United Nations Monday said that more species now are threatened with extinction than at any time in human history, and that the exploding human population has severely altered the Earth’s land, ocean and freshwater regions.
“While the planetary garden still exists,” Thomas Lovejoy of George Mason University said about the report, “it is in deep disrepair, frayed and fragmented almost beyond recognition.”
All of this means nothing to the people with the power/at the control panel. These conditions did not happen over-night, it took decades and centuries for mankind to get so screwed up. If corrections means cutting into profits or affecting their bottom line, it is taboo. They are too greedy and ignorant to know; pay me now or pay me later. Later is already here.
The purpose or obligation of mankind is/was supposed to be; make it better for those who came after us. BUTT as we can see (at least some of us that don’t have their heads where the sun doesn’t shine), we have made condition on this planet, in just about all areas and sectors, worse then they have ever been before. It can be compared to some idiot drinking a little bit of vodka flavored cyanide everyday because it tastes good, knowing that sooner or later it will kill him.
