USA TODAY: No gas-powered cars in California?

It is admirable the California is so concerned with their citizens, but I think they have their priorities in the wrong order, that is if they do have any priorities.
They should be more concerned with gang violence, immigration and other social issues before they start concentrating too heavily on banning gas operated vehicles.
But it stands to reason, when the captain of the ship is a nutcase, it is hard to develop a clear thinking, sensible crew.
