The outgoing mayor’s legacy will be defined by austerity, privatization, displacement, gun violence, and police brutality.

Emanuel had 8 years to get Chicago under control, 8 years, BUTT like so many other liberal minded jurisdictions, when the leaders left office the conditions were a lot worse then when they took the oath.

We can’t blame Emanuel for what conditions came before him, Butt we sure as hell can blame him for his inadequacies while he was in in office. Look at the numbers.

The only conclusion that can come out of situations such as this; whatever they are doing, it sure as hell is not working.
