Ex-girlfriend of Dayton shooter says she saw red flags and a dark side while they dated

What good did it do that she saw red flags, when nothing was done to stop this madman in the execution of heinous crime.

A former girlfriend of Connor Betts, the man who went on a shooting rampage outside a bar in Dayton, Ohio, said a number of warning signs led her to break up with the 24-year-old. 

Caitlyn “Adelia” Johnson, 24, and Betts briefly dated this spring, NBC reported. She told The (Toledo) Blade the two met in their psychology class at Sinclair Community College. They bonded over their struggles with mental illness; Johnson said she has depression and anxiety, and Betts told her he was bipolar and had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

At first, Johnson found Betts “kind of charming” and intelligent, The Blade reported. She said he was outgoing and willing to start a conversation with any stranger. Johnson soon learned he had a dark side.

If the laws were different and this psycho could have been detained for a psychological evaluation.

This is exactly what I have been preaching. This law have to be changed giving the authorities the right to arrest/detain someone they suspect is a safety risk to the public. How many times have we heard that a person who committed a crime was suspected of being a loose canon. ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDD nothing was ever done about it.

I am not out to infringe on people rights. I am concerned with stopping/preventing a crime of any magnitude before it happens. As the laws are write today, that is not possible. Have the lawmaking fools ever heard of being pro-active?? Doesn’t look like it to me.

Wake up lawmakers, either get your worthless ass in gear and pass or change some existing some laws that will protect the public, ORRRR we will never see the end to these slaughters.

The answers are there, BUTT the BUTT heads refuse to take the proper steps to correct the conditions. Why we ask?? A couple of reason. First it does not impact them or their families and secondly, they have no backbone to stand up to the PC opposition. Get a set of balls or pay the price.
