San Francisco board rebrands ‘convicted felon’ as ‘justice-involved person,’ sanitizes other crime lingo

In an effort not to offend their offenders/criminals, The Fools by The Bay are nixing words such as “offender” and “addict” while changing “convicted felon” to “justice-involved person.”

The local officials say the new language will help change people’s views about those who commit crimes. Are you kidding me?? What do hey call a murderer, a reliever of life?? A rapist; a overly-active-sexually person???

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, from now on a convicted felon or an offender released from custody will be known as a “formerly incarcerated person,” or a “justice-involved” person or just a “returning resident.” Are you kidding me again??

What do they call repeat offenders; formerly incarcerated repeat offender that will only repeat again persons????

It seems that the city fathers and mothers do not realize that one of the reason these people continue to commit crimes, is because they are always treated with kid gloves. Instead of rewarding them they should be more severely punished.

Possibly if the criminals were shamed instead of being rewarded, they would think twice before committing a crime.

What are all of my philosophies based on; COMMON-SENSE. The Fools By The Bay missed the boat out when THE MAN was passing COMMON-SENSE out.

“We don’t want people to be forever labeled for the worst things that they have done. We want them ultimately to become contributing citizens, and referring to them as felons is like a scarlet letter that they can never get away from.

The ignorance of Matt Haney and the city fathers and mothers is off the charts.

I hear the next thing they are going to do is to reward criminals with a point system. 5 points for robbery – 10 for rape – 25 points for kidnapping and 50 points for murder. The first criminal (or should we call them the naughty, misbehaving persons) to reach 1,000 points will be crowned the King or Queen of the city for a month, given the keys to the city and access to the city’s banking information.

It seems only logical that THE FOOLS BY THE BAY who love to reward bad behavior, celebrate the criminal success of its citizens.

Tony Bennett has to ashamed of what you did to his city.
