Isn’t it disgraceful that mankind is so obsessed with being the dominant power, that trillions of dollar$ has to be wasted on placing strategic military Outpost in outer space in the event that some whack-job besides the press the red button?
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump moved closer to launching his long-promised Space Force on Thursday as his administration embarked on the creation of a new space combatant command.
Pointing to threats from China and Russia and the nation’s reliance on satellites for defense operations, Trump has pressed for a new branch of the military focused on space. While Space Force requires congressional approval, his administration has moved ahead with a Space Command that will draw forces from other armed services.
Can we even imagine what can be done with the kind of money spent by Russia – China – The USA – North Korea – Iran and other super powers spend to protect themselves for their human enemies.
Unfortunately, the USA has to keep up with the other super-powers or be taken to the cleaners somewhere down the line.
There is no necessity for war of any kind. There is enough land – food and wealth in this world that no one should ever go without a roof over their heads and go to sleep hungry; let alone having to worry about getting zapped from one of earthling enemies. Don’t ever let anyone kid you; it is all a result of greed – inadequate governing – mismanagement of money – theft and a power struggle to be # 1.
If all of the super-powers wanted to (they don’t), they could put their heads together, unite for a common goal, to end wars and poverty. BUT it will never happen. There is too much greed in this world.
Defending ones turf on Earth isn’t bad enough, now we have to worry about getting nailed from outer- space, not by aliens, by other power-crazy human-beings.
I have often wondered if these fools that are the heads of countries, ever stop and look at just how pathetic they are?? They certainly are pathetic.
