Tax on e-cigarettes proposed by Oregon Democrat Ron Wyden
The dummies that went from puffing on regular tobacco cancer sticks to e-cigarettes thought they were beating the odds of catching cancer with the new, supposedly safe alternative. All they did was jump from the frying pan into the fire.
Studies have conclusively shown that the e-butts are as bad as tobacco butts.
An e–cigarette is an electronic device that works by heating a liquid, which produces a vapor that the person then inhales. The liquid burns at a lower temperature than a traditional cigarette. While an e–cigarette doesn’t contain tar like a traditional cigarette, it does produce other toxic chemicals.

Ron Wyden is proposing a higher tax on the electric butts in order to discourage people from using them. Did the increase in price stop the fools from buying tobacco butts? Hell no.
New York, where it’ll run you close to $6/pack and the minimum total price per pack is around $13 each, be prepared to spend $100+ for a full carton of 200 cigarettes. How much does one carton of Dunhill cigarettes cost in a duty-free shop? What’s the price of a carton of Marlboro cigarettes?
13 dollar$ a pack = 130.00 a carton and they are still buying them. GMAFB
A weakling is a weakling is a weakling. They will spend whatever the cost is to maintain their habit no matter what their poison of choice is and what it costs.
I know a lady that will buy her cancer sticks before she buys her food or medicine. She is not and unusual case.
That is why they are called addictions; fools can not give them up, even if it cost their lives.
UPDATE: Michigan has just become the first state to ban flavored e-cigarettes
