A paper beer bottle? Danish brewer Carlsberg is developing one

Anything to help preserve Mother Nature is a great idea.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Danish brewer Carlsberg says it is developing a paper beer bottle made from sustainably sourced wood fibers.

The Copenhagen-based company unveiled Friday two new prototypes that are “fully recyclable and have an inner barrier to allow the bottles to contain beer.”

It would be a great idea if all beverages where bottled with this material. What a boost that would be in the environmental department. Needless to say, Mother Nature needs all the help it can get.
