Two 13-year-old boys in Tennessee pleaded guilty to raping a 15-year-old girl and were convicted, but the judge sentenced them to just six months’ probation.

Pathetic cases like this only reinforce my position on mandatory same sentences throughout the USA. A crime in Fla. has the same penalty as the crime in Alaska, no exceptions. That is too simple for the judicial system, that in many cases are corrupted and haVE many incompetents sitting on the bench.
CHANGE THE LAW:
The light sentence was attributed to the Juvenile Reform Act, which serves to protect minors from harsh sentences. In an email to the family, the assistant attorney general quoted several parts of the act.
I have a big problem with the excuse, juveniles should not be held responsible for their criminal acts.

They know what having sex is, but according to the bleeding hearts, they do not no rape is wrong. Then we ask ourselves, why is this country in such deplorable conditions?? Why, partially because of laws like this.
What do these token penalties teach the pampered brats; only that it is OK to break the law.
Judges that make these decisions should be booted off the bench. If their hands are tied on account of outdated laws as some claim, change the laws.

Change the laws.
If the fools that run our government would concentrate more on issues like this by changing the laws so the victims get justice, instead of Slam-them Witch Hunts, just imagine what progress could be made.
I don’t even want to mention the other neglected issues; drugs – teen suicides – homelessness – poverty – terrorism – gang violence – crumbling infrastructure – corrupt politicians – EDUCATING our kids properly, etc …
We have had nearly 3 solid years of The Big Time Wrestling Circus where opposite teams are trying to slam the other side into the mat. It SHOULD be time to get down to business. BUTT, how can they accomplish anything when they only work (if that is what you want to call it) 138 days a year. The entire structure needs to be overhauled. Chances of that are little to none.
IFFF, Trump committed any crimes severe enough to be punishable, take care of them in 2024 when he gets out of office. There is where the problem lies, and much of their movement gets it steam from. The other side does not want him around for another 4 years.
This case is probably the most egregious example of injustice I have ever heard.

SHE CLAIMED COUCH WAS TOO WEALTHY TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
SO THE TERM AFFLUENZA WAS BORN
Ethan Anthony Couch (born April 11, 1997) is an American man who at age 16 killed four people while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs on June 15, 2013, in Burleson, Texas.
Killed: 4 Injured: 9 Criminal charge: Intoxication manslaughter
State(s): Texas
Kill 4 people, injuries 9 and get probation?? Pure insanity and incompetence.

Change the laws, and shit-can the fools wearing the robes who make these decisions.
PETE – REPEAT: The only time I saw congress move swiftly is when they voted that their pay would continue if the government shut down. What does that tell us??? Heavens forbid if they had to pay for parking at an airport or their free gym membership was interrupted, plus – plus – plus …..
