An Illinois Democratic senator under federal investigation for fraud and bribery resigned Wednesday from his office after FBI agents raided his Chicago home and Springfield office earlier this year.
On Sept. 24, FBI agents raided Sandoval’s offices and home looking for information on concrete and construction businesses as well as information related to bribery or theft of federal funds. They were also looking for information on a power company, officials, lobbyists, gambling interests, a red-light camera company and information on at least three suburban mayors.
There must be something in the water in Illinois. I think there have been more crooked politicians there than any other state in the union. I can call it the Alfonzo Capone syndrome.
These crooks all make big money, BUTT the greedy hogs are never satisfied.

I looks to me when the dust settles, there are going to be heads on the chopping block. They all deserve what they get.
I guess it is universal, the motive people have wanting to get into politics. For the majority, it has to be greed and a no-duty-chit for the rest of their miserable lives. As I have stated many times before; they say that prostitution is the oldest occupation. I say a politician washer pimp, so he had to come first.
