Where is it state in the Cops Guide Book 101 that they have to take being used and abused? I say, IF the drunk did spit on the cop, he needed to get an attitude adjustment. Possibly not so severe, but one he would remember.
Where I come from, it is a bigger insult to be spit on than getting blasted between the eyes.
If anyone wants respect, they have to give it. What would you do???
