‘Unsavory,’ not impeachable: Democratic lawmaker explains why he opposes removing Trump

WE RARELY SEE ONE
“My job isn’t really to like or dislike him,” he said during an interview with USA TODAY in his Capitol Office. “My job is to exact as much good will and help for my district and for this nation and for this world that I possibly can while he’s president.”
“I want to be the kind of congressman who reaches across the aisle to do what’s right for the entire country,” he said when he kicked off his 2018 campaign.
This is how Van Drew describes himself: “I am a moderate. I am a capitalist,” he said, sitting in an office where a portrait of Ronald Reagan hangs next to ones of Martin Luther King and FDR. “So I’m closer to Nancy (Pelosi) and Trump than AOC or those folks.” To me , these are all a sign of an honest politician (hens teeth)!!

I made this observation many years ago. I could care less if the president of the USA or for that matter any politician, is a women – black – yellow – goes to church on Sunday – has their Ma Ma over for dinner once every 10 years – pinched some girls ass in the 2nd grade – pissed in their pants in the 3rd grade or especially what party they belong to (they are all a joke) ; all I care about is they are patriots, they do the job for the the American people they were sworn to do.
Is there any such animal as a political party?? Hell no, they are only a front/a label. Depending on where they can most profit, mostly personally and some time as a unit, is the way the parasites (not all, but most) lean.
As far as I am concerned, congressman Van Drew has the right attitude/principles to be a politician for the people. There should be more like him that are not just sheep jumping off a cliff because the fool in front of them is.

It is my opinion, stupidity is of epidemic proportions in politics. I did say stupidity, not deceitfulness or devious.
