Reminiscent of a bunch of gossiping teetotaling old ladies. When one of the gets up to go powder her nose, while she is away, they chop her to pieces.

Then she comes back, another one of the gossips goes to power her nose, and they chop her to shreds. When a you have friends like that, who needs enemies???

As the old Italian saying goes; Tieni i tuoi nemici vicini e i tuoi amici più vicini – keep your enemies close and your friends closer!!
