Saudi Arabian court sentences 5 to death for Jamal Khashoggi’s killing
I will guarantee, they will not be sitting on death row for 20 years, getting fat and wasting their government’s money filing appeal after appeal.
Just as it should be in the LAND OF BLEEDING HEARTS. If someone is found guilty beyond any doubt, especially through the DNA process, they should be executed before weeks end.
There were 3,125 people on death row in the United States on January 1, 2013. Since 1977, the states of Texas (464), Virginia (108) and Oklahoma (94) have executed the most death row inmates.
I AXE why not?? Pete-repeat; If someone is found guilty beyond any doubt, especially through the DNA process, they should be executed before weeks end.
I remember one case years back where some serial killer delayed his execution for years, because he said the needle they used to inject him maybe contaminated. The sons-a-bitch was going to die anyway, so what was the difference.
The Tree Huggers claim the death sentence is not a deterrent and I will agree, based on the fact that the convicted get 20 years worth of appeals and possibly never will be executed. The death sentence in the USA is a joke. IFFF; they knew that very night they were found guilty, they would be executed, that would make a definite impact on their decision making and possibly think twice before committing the crime.
Death penalty case costs were counted through to execution (median cost $1.26 million). Non-death penalty case costs were counted through to the end of incarceration (median cost $740,000).
3,215 X 1,260,000 =
These number seem staggering, BUTT if they are true; it cost the government 3,958,331,250.00$ to keep these criminals alive. You tell me what the better/just way to go is.
Gotta pay The Piper
