Ron Howard’s anti-Trump tweet draws response from Parkland dad Andrew Pollack
What is Hollywood filmmaker Ron Howard — who recently criticized President Trump in a Twitter message — going to do when the president inevitably wins reelection later this year? That’s what Andrew Pollack, father of one of the 17 victims of the Parkland, Fla., high school massacre, wants to know.
In a New Year’s Day tweet, Howard — the 65-year-old former child star who went on to direct “Splash,” “Apollo 13,” and a long list of other films — lamented that President Trump was a “morally bankrupt ego maniac.
” Pollack, whose daughter Meadow Pollack was killed in the Feb. 14, 2018, massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School, responded Friday.“Let’s see here Ron…,” Pollack wrote, “President Trump gave up his billion dollar lifestyle to save this country.
“President Trump donates his ENTIRE salary. President Trump was loved by Hollywood before he became a Republican. What are you going to do when he wins again in 2020?”
That will be the downside to Trump winning in 2020. The USA is going to be subjected to 4 more years of PDT bashing. If anyone thinks their crusade to dethrone him is going to stop after the election, think again folks. In the meantime, PDT’s political adversaries are destroying this country.
I have been saying the exact thing Pollack said. All of the so-called-celebs at one time or another were standing in line to kiss The Donald’s ass before he got elected. Then after the election, there was a movement against him and all of the spineless fools joined in with the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE so they didn’t look like an outcast. You know, like sheep jumping off a cliff, all because the first dummy did!!
If they were honest people; Opie and all the other pathetic fools should compare what TMC has achieved in the 1st 3/4 of his term and then compare it to what PDT has did. Bear in mind; PDT accomplishments were done under extreme duress, all of the time being under the gun and severe pressure from all sides, even by some of the fool turn-coats in his party.
Fools like Opie should get on their knees and thank there lucky stars, CHC is not sitting where PDT is now, it would be total disaster.
This guy and TMC awarding him, is an example of what the word hypocrisy means in their social circles.
