Ricky Gervais swipes Oscars for injecting political commentary: ‘I … tried to warn them’

I really never cared too much for Gervais, the Don Rickels with a British accent; BUTT the guy has grown on me since he put down all the La La Land #hypocrites at the GG Awards.

Gervais received plenty of praise on social media as host of this year’s Golden Globes for his #scathing #monologue #slamming the entertainment industry for its #hypocritical virtue signaling.

“If you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg,” Gervais told the crowd of A-listers. “So if you win, come up, accept your award, thank your agent, thank your God, and #fuck-off.“

I have to believe that the majority of the #far-lefters could not have been born as #ignorant as they are. This #unflattering/demeaning characteristic had to develop through the years with them trying to #FIT-IN with who they thought were the insiders; and not be left in the cold to be ostracized. It is all 95% a big act, and a put on, just so they can think they are one of the beautiful people. It takes a guy like Gervais with #super-balls to go against the tide and set these clowns straight.

Just like with Rickles; the people he insulted thought he was just #bustin-balls, but he meant mostly every word he said.

ONE EXAMPLE OF MANY: I know I am beating a #dead-horse, BUTT some things are worth repeating.

When we have a #low-class nit-wit like Bobby Boy come out on a stage and for the whole world to hear and see, him telling the President of the USA to go #fuck himself; and the ignorant audience gives him a #standing-o; does anyone but me see anything wrong with that.

If this is the #NEW-MENTALITY in this country; we have bigger troubles than we think. Not tomorrow – next week – next year, but down the road, all of this #permissiveness the far-lefters thinks is CUTE, it will come back and bite everyone in the ass.

When I growing up in a time; (a much better time) there where certain social and personal people did not cross. Today, nothing, but nothing is safe or sacred anymore.

My hat is off to Gervais for telling like it is and going against the establishment. We need more influential people like him putting these pathetic clowns in their place. They all laugh, BUTT his #bold-rhetoric is eating them up inside.

I can’t help but wonder who is going to host the #Golden-Globe awards next year???
