Deadly Tesla crash shows that autopilot isn’t autopilot yet
2 Killed in Driverless Tesla Car Crash, Officials Say. “No one was driving the vehicle” when the car crashed and burst into flames, killing two …
Before the crash that recently killed two people; Tesla’s owner and inventor claimed this vehicle was SELF-DRIVING, now had a little change of heart.
On Saturday, after news of the crash broke, Musk cited a report claiming that cars with its Autopilot system engaged “are now approaching 10 times lower chance of accident than average vehicle.” To me; it seems that is a CYA statement.
In my opinion; in a nut shell there are too many variables, too many unforeseen circumstances to make the claim and trust any car as being capable of COMPLETELY of self-driving.
According to the police report; the car that crashed the other day did not have anyone sitting in the drivers seat.
It would not surprise me that if someday, some adventurous people wanted to compete with the Mile High Club and started their version called; THE PEDAL TO THE METAL BACKSEAT CLUB.

Just for the thrill of it:

Indulging in any form of sexual intercourse in an in-flight Airplane restroom, while, obviously, being at least a mile off the ground.
Never say never. It may have happened already in a Tesla.
In my opinion many advancements in technology are great; but there is such a thing as going to extremes and pushing the limits safely.
Example: some inventor comes home from work early and finds Robi in the sack with his old lady.
I saw an interview a short while back from a very notable scientist who claims; at the rate advancement are going; robots are going to recognize their own mistakes and have the ability to correct them. The plastic and tin critters will be able to think for themselves. That can only spell disaster. Well that time has already come.

A team of researchers at the University of California Berkeley have determined that robots can be capable of such perception. To prove it, they’ve developed a …
Robot that thinks for itself: Scientists from Columbia University have created a robot that can learn without prior programming via ‘deep learning’ – an advancement said to be the first step towards machine self-awareness.
They call it self-awareness; I call it, exceeding the point of sensibility. Too smart for our own good can lead to self-destruction.
Science should be very careful as to how far the push the envelop. But they won’t.
Around and around we go; where we will stop nobody knows.
