Two major airlines, American and Southwest, have postponed plans to resume serving alcohol on flights in an effort to stop a surge of unruly and sometimes violent behavior by passengers who have shoved, struck and yelled at flight attendants.

It is about time that some of the big boys in the airline business are putting safety before the $oldi!!
The blood sucking sporting venues should follow suit. Violence in sporting arenas has been a major problem for decades. Anyone with common-sense, (I did said with common-sense) would discontinue the sale of booze at sporting events. They refuse to, because the money mongers put their almighty dollar before the safety of the fans.
The owners could add 2 – 3 dollar per ticket to make up for their loss on booze sales and still make a bundle. I guess that solution is too simple (I did say too simple).
