I am happy to see that the forfeiture was the only punishment the LT Col got. They could have been a lot more harsh with him – probably knew they were wrong and were concerned with public opinion

Wrong is wrong, no matter what side of the fence a person is on.

Based on some circumstances I have seen lately; I hope the USMC retains it’s dignity and honor. Once they kowtow and start down that slippery slope, there is no doing an about face.
