‘Godfather of artificial intelligence’ says AI is close to being smarter than us, could end humanity

Hinton, a former Google engineer, says he wants to ‘blow the whistle’ on the dangers of artificial intelligence

I unequivocally agree, I have maintained this for many years. Tampering with artificial intelligence to a certain degree is going to do a 360 on mankind, backfiring and biting us in the ass. We are walking very thin ice.

I will call it the Frankenstein syndrome, where the monster (AI) kills the master.

Even now, we have invented artificial intelligence that is going to eventually turn on us and they will become our masters, we will become their slaves.

These monstrosities are so sophisticated they can think for themselves and correct mistakes and problems they’ve made. Folks that is absolutely dangerous.

I know it is the goal of the scientific community to further their knowledge and extend the capabilities of the world. There are certain areas such as artificial intelligence that science should be very careful on how far they push it. I say we are barking up the wrong tree.

Any way you look at it, mankind is determined to destroy itself, either through wars, climate change, civil unrest, and delving into science where they do not belong.

I have said this for years; mankind is absolutely out to decimate the population of the earth, one way or another.

I have to wonder how many guys came home from work, walked into the bedroom, and saw their old lady having sex with the robot?? Don’t think it hasn’t happened.

This conglomeration of tin and multiple circuits can go for days and days months and months years and years without getting tired. Move over men of this world, ROBIE has arrived.

Like it or not, if we continue with these very dangerous inventions/experiments, I don’t see any good at it come of it.

As the old saying goes; if it is not broken, why try to fix it.
