One needs to be a hero and the other deserves what he got …

I have to wonder, if the idiot that is prosecuting this Marine Corps hero had a family member who was a potential victim of this homeless scumbag if they would have objected to the life-saving actions Daniel Penny took that most probably saved a few lives?? Penny is a hero, not a criminal.

This is what we need more of in this country, people coming to the aid and helping one another in a time of need. I personally know of situations where someone’s life was in danger and the crowd of people watching the crime stood by and let it happen.

On the other side of the coin; there are laws that prohibit anyone from not reacting to help another person in danger. It’s called the Good Samaritan law.

You can’t have it both ways ladies. I am absolutely sure that 99 9/10% of the population will agree that Daniel Penny acted prudently and probably did save some lives. Make the guy a hero, give him keys to the city, free transportation on the subway for life, and throw in a few $1,000,000 for a kicker. If the government is willing to pay some shake-down parasites 1,500,000 to $5 million in reparation for nothing, why not pay this hero $1,000,000 for saving lives??
