Majority of USWNT remains silent as national anthem plays prior to Women’s World Cup opener against Vietnam

Six of the 11 American soccer players who stood on the field at Eden Park in New Zealand stood with their hands, to their sides or behind their backs as the anthem played. 

The remaining five players placed their hands over their hearts as the song blared throughout the stadium. 

It is pretty simple girls, you don’t like the way the USA operates, no one is forcing you to come back. Don’t be just another mindless sheep jumping off the Cliff just because the one in front of you does.
