Japan begins release of radioactive wastewater from Fukushima nuclear plant into Pacific Ocean
The Japanese government and TEPCO say the water must be released to make room for the plant’s decommissioning and to prevent accidental leaks. They say the treatment and dilution will make the wastewater safer than international standards and its environmental impact will be negligibly small. But some scientists say long-term impact of the low-dose radioactivity that remains in the water needs attention.
Just more proof, in my opinion on how mankind is killing itself. I would say the Japanese and between a rock and a hard place. They have radioactive water that they are trying to dispose of, but if they do release it into the ocean is gonna have a deadly effect on the sea life. They say only negligible, but even a small amount is too much.
I wonder if it is possible to boil the water to get rid of it and let the vapors dissipate in the air or is that just as bad or worse than dumping it into the ocean??
It looks to me like any direction they go is not the right one and possibly have to pick the lesser of two evils.
I have always been a huge fan of Stephen Hawking one of the most brilliant people ever born. He believes that the human race will destroy itself and moreover he believes in the existence of extraterrestrials. About the extraterrestrials, he said they are definitely out there but we do not want them to prior visit to mother earth because they will destroy us.
Speaking to the BBC, he said that while progress was good, it creates “new ways things can go wrong.” He highlighted nuclear war, global warming, and genetically-engineered viruses as possible harbingers of doom of our own creation.
So far he has being right in every category, but each one of those scenarios have not reached its pinnacle yet. Keep tampering with Mother Nature and sooner or later his prediction will come true.

Dangers of Nuclear Power: Japan had to find out the hard way and the entire world has been affected.
What is my opinion?? Quit tampering with Mother Nature and trying to revolutionize the way mankind evolves. Many of the inventions such as AL are counterproductive to mankind survival. It leads me to wonder if some of these scientists ever heard of th cliché; leave well enough alone.
