Sen. Bob Menendez and wife indicted on bribery charges; DOJ seizes gold bars and $500,000

Menendez was known in DC as ‘crooked for a long time,’ ethics lawyer says, amid bipartisan resignation calls

Richard Painter, a longtime ethics lawyer who served in the George W. Bush administration, told FOX News the congressman’s reputation precedes him, and he needs to go permanently.

“We’ve been around the road here before with Senator Menendez. He was indicted and tried and he would have been convicted, but for a hung jury in 2017,” Painter said. “Everybody in Washington has known that he was crooked for a very, very long time. People in the Democratic Party and elsewhere in New Jersey have known that he never should have been put in charge of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He never should have been run for office again, and he should resign immediately.”

Sen. Bob Menendez and his wife are accused of taking bribes of gold bars, a luxury car and cash in exchange for using his outsized sway in foreign affairs to help the government of Egypt — and others — as well as other corrupt acts, according to an indictment unsealed Friday.

And naturally as we would expect, the lowlife scumbag Menendez is claiming racism because he is of Spanish descent. That’s about as low as a thieving  son of a bitch can go.

It is no secret that this thief has been getting away with this for years, but now his tale of woes has finally come back to haunt him.

I am sure that he is just one of the many crooked politicians that have been getting their palm greased for many years.

What the vast majority of the clowns that run for political office is only to enrich their coffers. They have no consideration or respect for the people that put them in office. The better part of their effort is put into making as $oldi as they can, either by paycheck or theft, hope they survive and not get caught with their hand in the cookie jar till the retirement so they can collect their full pay pension plus perks while retired.

 So if you have the illusion that they give one or two shits about you better think again. Just like their illustrious boss Kamikaze Joe, it is all about him.

If a thorough investigation was ever held to expose all the thieves in Washington, the halls of the Senate and Congress would look like a ghost town and be totally empty. That also applies to city and state government officials. Not all, but enough of them to make it very disturbing.

These are just some of the kickback items that Menendez received from the Egyptian government and who knos how many others.

One thing that could be said about the thief, he sure knows how to go first cabin.

His felow politicians have known for years that Menendez has been on the pad and had his hand out to anybody he could shake nickel out of, but they all kept their mouth shut.

They are almost as bad as the Catholic hierarchy that knew about the pedophile situation but kept it quiet for the sake of the big buck.

Why is it that so many people in politics knew about Menendez and his illicit, the illegal activities and never dropped the quarter on him? It goes without saying that they are about as guilty as he is. But that’s what super thieves do, watch each other ‘s back. Once the perpetrator is exposed, they all jump on the band wagon pointing the finger at him to look like heroes. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Example of a politician: They walk in the front door with holes in their shoes, six months later walk out the back door to an awaiting chauffeured limousine that takes them to their lavish digs in the sky where they can look down at the little people, and bullshit themselves they are working very hard.
