I have to wonder, are the taxpayers paying for this luxurious trip for this progressive slimeball.

According to public records Gavey is worth about $20 million. I will bet my ass that he does not spend the penny of his own money. Just another parasite wearing a $4,000 suit and bleeding the system for every dime he can.
