In my opinion there are a lot more serious, pressing crimes (if you want to call getting laid a crime) that the authorities can focus on instead of trying to obstruct the 2nd oldest occupation in the world.
I personally think that it all revolves around the Johns’not paying taxes on the profits make instead of the actual act of prostitution.
It has been the consensus for years that prostitution is the oldest occupation in the world: my take on it is, the politicians were there pimps, so what came first.
I would recommend; let them do their thing, keep the occupation clean with medical checkups once a month, have them pay their taxes and everyone will be happy in the long run, especially the women that do not want to come up with an nookie for the hold man.
The 63 countries where prostitution is partially legal are Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Benin, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Dominican Republic, East Timor, plus …….
All of these countries seem to be functioning on a pretty even keel, so we can positively conclude it’s all about not paying taxes, not the man-made contrived sin of stealing booty.
To all of these gun toting government officials in the United States; I would think that going after terrorists and homegrown bastards that are determined to take the USA down, getting rid of these criminals is far more pressing than worrying about a few guys selling some trim. Make it legal, keep it controlled, and focus on more pertinent dangers against this country.

On top of it, there is a very good chance that some of the horny toads dipping their tool in the inkwell are some of the fools that wrote the laws.
Say 10 Our Father’s, 10 Marys and practice what you preach.
