NYC mayor builds hefty legal war chest to battle FBI investigation

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ legal defense trust exceeds $650,000 in donations, reports say

The bureau is probing whether Adams’ 2021 campaign conspired with the Turkish government and others to funnel money into its coffers. FBI agents also approached Adams directly after a Manhattan event later that month, seizing the mayor’s electronic devices, including at least two cellphones and an iPad, in carrying out a search warrant, the Times reported. 

Usually the FBI does not initiate an investigation unless they have some solid evidence to go on.

We all know that there is no such thing as a free lunch. What can the Turkish government possibly offer this two-bit politician??

Plain and simple, I can’t think of a single politician who will not stoop lower than Chubby Checker’s limbo bar.
