Amazon begins showing ads on Prime Video, jumping on a streaming trend
To watch without ads costs an additional $2.99 a month
It is absolutely astonishing how greedy people are. Son of a bitch is worth over $181billion, and that’s not enough for him.
I think is it about time the merchants including sporting events start showing some gratitude to there are customers by lowering the price instead of raising them. They get us hooked on a good thing to draw you in; as soon as we bite, they grind it off in your keister for Easter.
Still is not enough for the greedy prick: Jeff Bezos is the founder, executive chairman, and former president and CEO of Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce and cloud computing company. He is the third-wealthiest person in the world, with a net worth of about US$180 billion as of January 2024.
This is on top of the 75 BBBBBBillion he gave his wife when they got divorced. I guess he had to make up them dead president some way.
It’s too bad that people are so weak (including me) that get addicted to cable TV, companies like Amazon, Sirius Radio, and all of the hustlers that start out cheap; as soon as we take the bate and get addicted they start shafting us. We get too attached to their products and are too weak to cancel the subscription.
I know from personal experience that Sirius Radio will reduce their prices if you threaten to cancel your subscription. The rest of them I don’t know about the rest of them.
Sirius increased my price from $50.00 a month to over 200 a month. When I told them I would not pay anymore than fifty a month they finally agreed and reupped my subscription for a year for the 50$. This has happened three or four times already. Tell them you’re going to cancel and they will definitely drop the price.
There definitely is a need for greed from many business owners. They are making a killing on this recession we are going through and will blame the government for it (partially true). Don’t expect the prices to go down once the smoke clears, if it ever does. It will never happen.

But WE do not have the Intestinal fortitude to cut them off.
