Facing community pushback, NYC mayor reverses plan to house migrants in luxury building

The building was first advertised as luxury housing with a swimming pool and was expected to be converted into a temporary shelter for illegal migrants

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has done a U-turn on plans to convert an abandoned luxury apartment complex into a shelter for illegal migrants after the community in Harlem opposed the proposal. 

The rates for some of these hotel roomss that are being suggested to house the immigrants started 200 a night.

That does not cover the cost to repair the destruction they inflict on these rooms where they are guests of the city.

I have to question how imbicilles like this fools Adams get elected?? People like him are extremely dangerous to society.

I have a better suggestion for this bleeding hearted fool; why not take in a couple dozen immigrant into his own crib for an unlimited stay?

It is mind-boggoling how the far-left fools lead by the Bumbling Idiot Kamakazi Joe can turn this crisis around in 30 seconds with the stroke of a pen, but he refuse to do so. Why you AXE??? The conditions they created do not impact their opulent way of life.
