Federal judge rules on new Arizona voting laws requiring proof of citizenship
In 2022, then-Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican, signed the measures into law, prompting criticism from voting activists
“Considering the evidence as a whole, the court concludes that Arizona’s interests in preventing non-citizens from voting and promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide (documentary proof of citizenship),” the judge wrote.
Give me one good reason why and none non-registered citizens should be allowed to vote in any state.
Why should undocumented residents be allowed to have a say so the functions of the country they live in?? That should be the rule of law in every state in the country. When there is not uniformity, that alone can increase the possibility of voters fraud dramatically.
Thumbs up for Arizona.
