Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker says the state will not let the federal government ‘intimidate Chicagoans’

What else should we expect coming from an imbicile (Pritzker) who clams The Windy City does not have an out-of-control crime condition??

This fool and his supporters are being handed a tremendous gift from PDT to help alleviate a horrendous crime condition, but they are turning it down. On top of that, they said they will do WHATEVER they have to to stop federal troops from interfering with their city’s crime. Does that threat mean we will see federal troops shooting it out with state troops?

However, recent data shows a decrease in violent crimes, with shootings and murders down significantly in 2025 compared to the 2022-2024 average. Other cities also have high violent crime rates, but Chicago’s specific ranking can depend on the type of crime and the population threshold used for comparison.
