With horrendous crimes like this connected with antiquated religious practices committed against a family member, should we wonder why some of the people from that part of the world are so hostile against anyone who does not subscribe to their twisted mentality? They have been fighting these ridiculous religious wars for centuries.

What a waste of a beautiful life.

The perpetrators have the balls to claim their god approves of this type of savage executions. That is why they hide behind the term (HONOR KILLING). Drowning a daughter/sister because she refuses to wear a scarf. AYFSM!!!

There is absolutely no honor in killing a relative or anyone else for wandering off the path of fanatical religious beliefs.

This is the same example of why so many wars have been fought in that part of the world, claiming they were in the NAME OF GOD. Absolute bullshit. If there is a just and compassionate god, there is no way he/she/whatever would ever approve of people killing one another in his/her/its/ name.

This absurd mentality of HONOR KILLING has been going on for centuries. Although it has tapered down, I do not see it going away anytime soon.
