Hegseth fires Army chief of staff in sweeping military purge operation

Pete Hegseth attained the rank of Major in the Army National Guard, serving from 2002 to 2021. He was an infantry officer who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, earning two Bronze Stars, a Combat Infantryman Badge, and serving as a senior instructor. He separated from the Individual Ready Reserve in January 2024

I was always bewildered why Donald Trump chose Petey Boy to start with. I wonder what Trump owes him? My impression of Peter Hegseth from the get-go was nothing but a little guy with a big ego (happens to run with the crowd), in a position of too much power. And another guy who dyes his hair.

I will make a prediction. Before it is all over, Petey Boy will be job hunting.
