The authorities must have the latitude to respond in kind to maintain order and to protect their lives and other citizens. Announce their gloves-off intentions so no one can say they have not been forewarned and then let ICE have at it.

It will not be too long before these shootings are an everyday occurrence where ICE officers are being shot at and possibly killed, if a precedent is not set.
