GOP lawmaker shocked after anti-ICE sheriff was stumped by ‘fifth-grade civics’ question
‘I was not expecting to have to get into a fifth-grade civics lesson with a duly elected sheriff,’ a GOP lawmaker remarked

This is what you get when trying to fill a quota.
North Carolina Republican state Rep. Allen Chesser said he was taken by surprise when a Democratic sheriff who has long opposed cooperating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could not answer a basic question about how the government works.
After a long pause, Chesser continued, “For the sake of debate, let’s say there are three branches of government: legislative, executive, judicial. Of those three, which do you fall under?”
The sheriff answered, “I believe I fall under the last one … judicial.”
“You are incorrect, sir. You fall under the executive,” said Chesser.
I wonder if the good sheriff knows who signs his checks.

Garry L. McFadden serving as the Sheriff for Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, had a reported annual pay of $237,588.18 in 2023 according to public records OpenPayrolls. YGTBFSM!!!!!
This token makes mucho-mulla a year but he does not even know what branch of the government he works under. WELL, Kiss my grits.
We had a similar situation in the presidential election, when Car-mello got her asses kicked by Donald Trump. She was nothing but a token. Carm was so fucked up, she did not know if her nationality was American Indian or black. It took her some time to figure that out. She wanted to see which way the wind was blowing before declaring herself.
It is absolutely necessary to put responsible people in responsible positions. Tokenism should be a thing of the past. It has nothing to do with race or sexual preferences.
That’s like going to have a very serious operation. Midway through the operation, you came out of the anesthesia long enough to see the doctor reading a HOW TO DO guidebook. WOOPS!!!!
