My answer to that ‘stretched thin’ is to hire more competent people, pay them a good wage, and give them the latitude to defend the law as they are written.
It seems to me that the people whose responsibility it is to defend us are being grossly underpaid and underappreciated by the fools who set the pay scales.
Our very benevolent, overly generous, idiotic political leaders can find funds for any of their pet projects but when it comes to taking care of/protecting their own, they are crying the monetary Blues. They are so full of shit it is sickening.
Let us start cutting out foreign aid, massive donations to illegal immigrants, shut the gates, and all of the other areas that our political leaders piss away money and start taking care of our own.

I would think they would be super embarrassed to admit that they don’t have the funds to protect our citizens adequately.
I would rather have some good commentary, positive outlook regarding the conditions of this country to blog about, but I have been searching high and low I am coming empty-handed.
Instead of crying poverty, our government should be paying all of its employees a decent wage with benefits based on the person’s qualifications and what they are responsible for.
It seems that our over-paid deadbeat politicians are more concerned with suporting Jose and his family who are in this country illegally outrageous amounts of money and the neglecting the people that put their life on the line every day to protect them.

Now after Donald Trump was nearly assassinated they are trying to figure out who dropped the ball. I would say there were many or all law-enforcement departments who are supposed to be Trumps security and keep him safe who were at fault.
One of two things; some of the officials were complicit in the act, or just pain and simply dropped the ball big.
A very similair story unfolded with an honest cop trying to do what was best for the city, his own people turned against him.
An honest New York cop named Frank Serpico blows the whistle on rampant corruption in the force only to have his comrades turn against him.
The investigative authorities always start with a (JUST FOR SHOW) a bogus investigation, I say it’s a Joke.
Just as an example of how corrupt the system is, they are still investigating John fKennedy’s assassination 60 some years ago. Who is bullshitting who, they know who was behind the hit. There is some heavy speculation that it may have been some people in our own government who wanted him out of the way.
As in the case with Trumps’ shooting; what is the first thing a good law-forcement officer is supposed to do when they get a report of someone’s unlawful activity?? Naturally; the answer would be to respond immediately and investigate the situation. Neither was done in this set of circumstances.
On the day of the shooting it was reported to the authorities by a number of people who observed the shooter walking around with a rifle slung over his shoulder, entering a building to gain access to the roof.
What did the authorities do, you guessed it, absolutely nothing. They never following up on the lead to investigate which would have prevented PDT getting shot.
How many different departments were not doing their job that day?
In my opinion, it would have been impossible to stop the shooter once he was in position. The problem lies in the fact that they never investigated the reports of the sniper before hand. I would say that all departments should be held at task for ignoring the warning.
Now what they are going to do, naturally open up an investigation (all for show and tell). It’s quite possible that they know who was behind the assassination attempt.
60 plus years later they still are putting on a show claiming they are investigating the assassination of JFK. Again just a lot of lip service. The authorities do know who was responsible.

Our government is so secretive and clandestine, if the citizens of this country really knew what was going on behind closed doors, there would be an absolute revolution.

To the best of my knowledge there has never been an American politician who has put his life on the line for the sake of his country as Donald Trump has.
Going on 10 years, he has been spit on, degraded, used and abused by just about everyone in the political world, in the entertainment world, and in the one-sided news media industry. Even the people in his own party have gone against him and not supported his patriotic cause 100%.
To put the icing on the cake, yesterday PDT dodged the bullet during an assassination attempt.
If this bastard shooter was a real marksman and didn’t miss his target, today we would have been mourning the death of a great man.
Regardless of what PDT’s motivations are, ego, narcissism, self-importance, and showmanship, I have never seen anyone put their ass on the line as he has for the betterment of this country. He is absolutely a true patriot in the highest definition of of the word.
As crazy as it sounds, I believe that he has been elevated to a new level by even some of his arch-enemies because of being shot.
For the imbeciles in this country who support the other party, (they are being given a free car) they are about as foolish as some moron who had a choice of his own, going to a junkyard picking out a junker instead of selecting a brand-new Mercedes-Benz. It just does not make sense.
Does anyone see the difference?? That is just about how ridiculous it gets when you compare apples to apples. Chosing an old worn out usless junk, compared to a luxurious vechile.
It is too bad the assassin was shot and killed by a FBI sniper, he should have been kept alive and tortured for a couple of years.
This particular situation may not be 100% of the fault of the progressive, far-left, socialist movements, but one thing I can say, it certainly played a big role in the shooting.
Unfortunately, there are thousands of others like this maniac out there loading their AK-47 and sharpening their machetes on a grinding wheel getting ready for the next assassination attempt.
They must come up with a better means of protecting high-ranking people who are targets for the demented killers. The speaker should probably be enclosed in a transparent bulletproof phone booth for protection. As ridiculous as it may seem, I would say that that would be a very wise choice in trying to eliminate these unfortunate conditions.
Since this incident has finally shown its ugly head, I am sure there are going to be many more assassination attempts as we get closer to the election or even after the election. There are no protective measures that are two great to implement in order to save a life. These safety precautions should be put into the works immediately.
Folks love him or hate him, just think of how much this man has sacrificed in order to bring our democracy and safety back into the American way of life. His efforts are immeasurable.
The possibilities are a heavy price to pay to run for president of the United State. You are always a target for some fuckin maniac out there Who wants to make a name for themselves.
Let us hope that whoever runs on either ticket, they get to see the sunrise the next day.
