Corporate America has gone down the tubes:

Goldman Sachs exec Greg Smith quits, saying environment at firm is ‘toxic’.
In a very public and scathing resignation letter, Goldman Sachs executive director Greg Smith has called the atmosphere at the massive investment bank “as toxic and destructive as I have ever seen it.”

The working environment at Goldman Sachs is just a small example of what “modern day” corporate America has evolved into.

Greg Smith is only divulging the work ethics in the higher echelon in corporate America and not what goes on with the “hired help” which has to be 100 times worse.

Way back when a hand shake and a person’s word was their bond. There used to be honor in the work place and yes; “honor among thieves”.

Not in today’s world. Everyone is out for themselves. They are taking no prisoners. The work place has become a slaughter-house in some places where people are trampling over each other to keep their jobs; most of this mindset initiated by big business.

In years past a person got out of high school or college got a job and were employed it the same place until they retired. Not in today’s’ working society. The average employment at a company is 4.1 years. That is with good behavior.

Finking or snitching has become very common in the work place. These sub-human people are so insecure in themselves; the only way they know how to advance themselves and keep their job is by ratting on their co-workers. Any boss that allows that type of behavior is worse than the slandering weasel.

A good boss and a smart boss does not need an inside person to spy on their co-workers. The boss should be able to ascertain the production or lack there of on his own. If that is out of their reach; they should not be in a management position.

The mentality in today’s work place is “It is not what you did for me yesterday that maters, it is what you can do for me tomorrow?

People are just a name and number on a computer screen that can be eliminated in a micro-second by someone hitting the delete button.

Millions of these some called important people hide under their desks all day long and have the phone do their dirty work for them.

All of their calls are screened. “I am either on the phone or away from my desk”. That phone message infuriates me. It is probably the biggest lie told on a daily basis throughout the working industry. You know damn well the person you called is sitting there listening to the message. It all depends on how important you are as to whether or not they answer the phone or even call you back. If you are a “nobody” you will be lucky to get a return call in a week or not at all.

It is the corporations that have perpetuated this type of behavior and has all of their employees running scared hoping to keep their jobs. They have turned their workers into a bunch back biting vultures that can only advance themselves by discrediting someone else. It is just indicative of the mentality in our country today.

So to all of the boss’s out there that need a fink or a snitch to patrol the isles, shame on you.

To all of you sub-human snitches; grow up, get a back bone and start maintaining your job by your merits and not by being a “brown nose”. Don’t pretend you don’t know what that is. I am trying to be polite.

I must say you have done a great job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari. Outstanding Blog!
