Marine faces dismissal for anti-Obama Facebook posts:

I thought the “Hammer and Cycle” were in Europe? Now it is unlawful to talk about the president while serving in the military? This sounds like one of those countries that we are trying to bring out of the dark ages.

The Marines on Wednesday told Sgt. Gary Stein — a Camp Pendleton Marine who started the Facebook page called Armed Forces Tea Party that he is in violation of Pentagon policy barring troops from political activities.

If there is such a law prohibiting military people from speaking about the government; it should be stricken from the records just like some of amendments in the US Constitution that are so antiquated it is shameful that they are in existence today.

What happened to the right of public expression?

Was this a move by the Corps to score point with the higher ups or did BO or Holder get involved?

More than anyone else in this country BO and Holder should appreciate the rights of freedom of speech.

Let go General James Amos; loosen up this is 2012. Remember what Semper Fi is supposed to stand for; Sgt. Stein needs your support. The next thing you know someone in DC is going to tell you that you have to take all of those well earned ribbons off if your uniform.
